CBD oil for menstrual cramps?

I was speaking to a customer today who told me how she was doing. I just had to share her story.

About 7 weeks ago, she was an early customer and started with the low-dose ("red" or "raw") CBD oil we sell on this site. She wanted to try taking it for depression and anxiety. After a couple of weeks, she felt it had made a mild difference, but was hoping for more. So she started the medium dose capsules ("green"). She noted an immediate improvement in her anxiety and depression and was happy enough with the results to continue.

But when I asked how she was doing today, she had a surprise story. She noted that her menstrual cramps have become significantly worse over the last couple of years. In addition to the uterine pain, she was also experiencing significant vaginal pain. She was living off NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen or naproxen), often overcome to the point of tears, and miserable for five days each month. This had gotten so bad she had sought help from a gynecologist, who was unable to help apart from offering her an oral contraceptive (which is how she first developed depression and anxiety in the first place, so she refused) or to consider that she might have endometriosis. Long-story-short, after taking PlusCBD for a month, she was surprised to look back and find that she had minimal pain during this last menstrual period and never even took an NSAID.

I've not read any research about CBD oil and menstrual pain, but the research is clear that for many forms of pain, CBD oil is a great tool for treatment and management. This is just one person's story, but with no harmful side effects, it might be worth your try if you, too, suffer from severe menstrual pain.
