When I started this site and webstore it was with the initial intent of being able to provide for my patients access to quality CBD oil. At the time it was hard to come by and there were few well-tested and certified sources on the market. A secondary goal was to provide it as inexpensively as possible.
Since that time, hemp has been legalized and CBD oil is available everywhere. The product I originally sourced is a quality product, but third party testing like Consumer Labs has now identified other brands that are sufficient in quality and at a much cheaper price. Therefore, I am discontinuing that product line and will no longer be sourcing CBD oil. I am referring most of my patients to Swanson's Vitamins or Garden of Life brand CBD oil, and they are reporting back to be that it is working for them just as well as what I supplied.
However, I maintain my goal of providing supplements to my patients at a reduced price from what they can get elsewhere--products that I have personally vetted and believe to be of excellent quality for the purposes for which I recommend to them. Therefore, the webstore has expanded significantly to include products for cardio-metabolic, cognitive, immune, hormone and gastrointestinal health. This is largely due to an increasing emphasis in my practice on Functional Medicine for patients with complex presentations. Stay tuned next week to hear more about that!
